Basic computer knowledge Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish immediate rapport with patients, physicians and staff Demonstrate confidence in handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism during a variety of situations Be willing to learn and adapt to the changing needs of the clinic
Responsibilities:
Greet patients in a warm, friendly, and prompt manner.
Gather patient and insurance information efficiently and accurately.
Collect co-pay amounts from the patient at the time of service.
Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide information to the appropriate source.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality This position is eligible for grant money to use towards paying for Medical Assisting program at OTech .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
