Elevations RTC Elevations RTC Syracuse, UT Syracuse, UT Full-time Full-time From $20 an hour From $20 an hour Job Summary The Recreation Specialist position at Elevations is a full time position working with adolescents ages 13-17.
The majority of time is spent teaching and guiding outdoor recreation activities.
Successful candidates plan, organize, and lead outdoor education programs, day trips, and multi-day trips and assigned activities relating to recreation at Elevations.
The typical work week is Wednesday-Saturday as well as multi-day trips once a month.
Starting wage is $20 for entry level applicants.
Candidates with experience and education will be commensurated accordingly.

During the winter season downhill skiing and snowboarding dominate the activities with weekly trips to ski resorts including Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.
Other activities during the winter include cross country skiing yurt trips, ice fishing, and snow shoeing.
Spring, summer, and fall include rock climbing, triathlons, mountain biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, paddle boarding, fishing, canoeing, and almost any other outdoor activity that the recreation specialist has a passion for teaching.
Other activities include 5k races, community service projects, and traditional sport activities.
