Job Description
Independent Insurance Agency in Syracuse, Utah is seeking to bring on a part-time agency CSR. This is a part-time customer service/office manager position, so you must be detail oriented, have positive energy, a great attitude, the ability to multi-task and problem solve. I am looking for a fun and personable individual who truly enjoys working w/ customers.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Manage current book of business
o Facilitate new client processes (cancellation fax, mortgage EOI, etc.)
o Handle certificate of insurance for commercial clients
o Speak intelligently about current policy status and coverage
Facilitates policy issuance.
o Calculates and quotes policy premiums.
o Upholds fiduciary responsibilities.
o Uses specific insurance company underwriting practices knowledge in handling policy changes.
o Oversees and coordinates collection of data for proper issuance of policies.
Agency management
o Handle and resolve policy changes
o Act as the retention manager for the agency, keep customers w/ us!
o Works to maintain goodwill of specific Insurance company and the Agency.
o Responds appropriately to customer claim situations.
o Minimal book keeping/ Quick books data entry
Maintains and develops knowledge of Independent companies, products, services, etc.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
1 year of office/customer service or equivalent work experience
Ability to problem solve and think on your own
Ability to quickly build rapport w/ existing and new clients
Professional, friendly demeanor
Pass all required state licenses
Clean background and credit
Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent
Intermediate knowledge of general office equipment and Microsoft office software

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
